3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Sunderland office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The total payment and security deposit are generally due upon vehicle pickup. Prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, securely processed by trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited uses for your rental:
- Use of the vehicle for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in other risky behaviors. Transporting hazardous materials or substances is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is prohibited. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Vehicles must be used as intended, respecting passenger and weight limits. Driving outside designated geographical areas requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Sunderland will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may result from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not surpass the amount paid for the rental in the prior 12 months.
